Thank
you for visiting the website of the
journal of the ‘Voice of Voiceless
(the Voice).
I am indeed very excited and
gratified about the very positive
comments from the various readers in
response to the first issue of
'Voice of Voiceless'. I am now eager
to share my thoughts in this second
issue. When it came to distributing
copies of the journal, our
circulation staff approached many
multi-ethnic business establishments
and post-secondary educational
institutions; all of them were happy
to facilitate the distribution.
Between the time of distribution and
now, I have received many insightful
comments from readers regarding the
necessity of having access to a
journal like the ‘Voice of
Voiceless'. After considering these
views, I am even more excited in
working on the next issue and on
reaching out to many more thousands
of readers who would be interested
in understanding the plight of the
oppressed peoples and Aboriginal
groups living around the world.
I urge our readers to subscribe to
this journal by paying at least CAD
$ 36, including postal charges, for
a yearly subscription of 12 issues.
You can send a money order or a
cheque payable to 'Voice of
Voiceless'. You will agree that such
monetary support will help to
improve the quality and increase the
production of this journal.
Initially, we thought that we should
to ask readers to subscribe CAD $ 60
for a yearly subscription. Now, we
are offering our readers a great
opportunity to save on the
subscription price. Our goal is to
encourage as many readers as
possible to subscribe in order that
they, the activists and the cause
can benefit from this enterprise.
Needless to say that without your
contribution in the form of
subscription it will really be near
impossible to sustain this
publication purely on a voluntary
basis. Therefore, please do all you
can to keep this venture going.
I must say that all articles were
highly commended by readers in that
articles, of equally high standard,
covered a wide range of issues
facing oppressed peoples in many
parts of the world. They provided
information and analysis that gave
the readers food for thought and
held revise their views in the
correct perspective.
At the time of writing we are in the
midst of putting together the second
issue. Space permitting, I shall
endeavour to inform you in this
issue, of some of the responses of
readers. I can assure you that the
second issue will offer you as much
thought provoking and meaningful
reading. Some of the articles focus
on the Aboriginal peoples in Canada
and Australia. Some document the
sufferings of tribal groups in
India. A few stories will bring to
light some facts about the Tibetans.
I strongly recommend that you to
submit article/papers for our next
issues by sending them to our e-mail
address or in the mail. We shall be
more than happy to publish them in
the coming issues as long as they
are in keeping with the objectives
of the journal. Please do not be
deterred by the inability to express
in impeccable English. It is not the
language that counts it is the idea
that we wish to communicate and
interact with the readers. Each
writer has his or her individual
style that adds colour and variety.
We wish to let the world know of how
the “other half” are oppressed. The
material should have the stamp of
impartiality and objectivity, not
casting aspersions on other
cultures, races, nations or
religions, and should not encourage
violence, sex, nudity, or use
profane language.
I urge you to share this copy of the
journal with your friends and
relatives this publication. Keep
browsing our website:
http://www.voiceofvoiceless.com,
and feel free to send your comments.
Our editorial staff and contributors
will be delighted to receive both
your positive and constructive
comments, in order that we can keep
improving and provide better
reading. We are dedicated to be a
voice for the voiceless and please
join us as a team in whatever way
you can to make this enterprise a
success.
With kindest regards,
