What are some of the legacies of Colonialism of decimation once seen as a policy towards the Aboriginal people transformed later as the policies of assimilation and then mainstreaming? What impact have these had on the Aboriginal people who look at themselves as distinct nations and not as tribes?

For the Aboriginal people land is an integral part of their life. They believe that the land does not belong to them but instead they belong to the land a completely opposite view from that of the European concept of the ownership of land What impact have the recent legislations like the Land Titles Act by the present government had on the attitude of the aboriginal people towards their relationship with the land?

Do the legal systems obtaining federally and in the states geared to take into consideration the traditions, legal systems, beliefs and culture in dispensing justice?

What are the important health issues faced by the Aboriginal people and what meaningful steps are being taken to solve them?

All articles submitted to Voice of Voiceless must be typed double-spaced and submitted in duplicate. Manuscripts cannot be returned.

Voice of Voiceless articles generally range between 1,000 and 5,000 words depending on the subject matter.

Voice of Voiceless uses the Chicago Manual of Style as a guide for all questions relating to punctuation, capitalization, and the like. Authors are requested to consult the Chicago Manual during the preparation of manuscripts.

All articles must use the Chicago style of footnote citation. All footnotes must be placed at the end of the manuscript, Citations within the text of the manuscript are not acceptable. The Chicago style requires a complete citation--author, title, place of publication, publisher, and date of publication--upon first use of a source, and an abbreviated form of citation thereafter, Voice of Voiceless cannot be responsible for completing incomplete citations.

All articles submitted to Voice of Voiceless are sent to the readers for evaluation. Authors should allow four to eight weeks from the date of submission for a final evaluation of the articles.

The author should include a short sentence identification for him/herself.

Figure (charts. graphs, and other artwork) should be in camera-ready form; they cannot be redrawn by the printer. Captions should be provided, and preferred placement of figures indicated in the manuscript.
